Hello

I am a new landlord and looking for tenants, I need some guidance in terms of how I should manage this process myself.

It is a 2 bed house in Luton-
what kind of tenants should I be looking out for
what information should I request from them in order to understand if they will suitable
how do I credit check them
how should I arrange the viewings
how do I draw up a contract myself and how should this be laid out

The advice would be greatly appreciated!

The law has changed a lot and you need to be fully aware of your duties as a landlord. You need to get check references there is places on the web that have lists of bad tenants, you can also credit check tenants for around 9.95 on the web. You need to protect the deposit as well. If you new at this don't rent until you are aware of everything otherwise it could be costly in the long run. you could employ an letting agent again do your homework

All very very green questions.  Look at ARLA or similar, they have courses on landlording.  If you don't know what you are doing it can get very expensive very quickly.
