After reading all your stories I must admit I had very different experience. I always used to be reluctant to appoint a letting agent. But there are always exceptions. My Letting Agent found me a tenant, did all necessary checks, including references and credit history. Furthermore, always available on the phone and never rude! I am very happy with the tenant, rent is being paid by standing order, that means always on time. And I paid only 2 weeks rental fee without VAT and all other ridiculous fees that other agents usually charge. You get your reliable tenant, your rent on time and you can trust what you have been told as you sign very clear agreement so no room for HIDDEN charges. I strongly recommend them. There must be some misunderstanding here. It is not my business. I am just giving recommendation for someone who is honest and reliable among others that are not!!!!That is my experience and i wanted to share it with other landlords here. Thanks anyway.
