I am in a strange place! as you can see by the title "accelerated possession proceedings have been issued & served upon Tenant" The section 21 ended on the 5th December the tenant (before receiving the order) told me they would be paying me weekly instead of monthly, I revived the first week OK then the 2nd week was OK then just before Xmas I got two weeks rent Yippee. However, they have now received the 'Order' and no sign of the rent. and since Xmas the tenant has been in and out of hospital, ambulances coming and going, screaming at her kids and locking them out. all is not well.
My question is can tenants get money from the NHS to help to rehouse them? (she does know how to milk the system) I must say she is not well and does suffer from pain (also it is common knowledge that the heating is always on full blast but the bedroom window is always open (can't say any more :-X) However the other question is could this medical emergencies be a ruse to prolong not leaving?
Sorry about the rambling, haven't had my bottle of Famous Grouse yet (in joke) 8)

As far as I know the NHS cannot find rehousing that is something this local authority takes care of.

I can't tell where exactly you are in the process but it seems they failed to appeal the possession order?
That was a bit daft on their part.
It doesn't seem like they have any options left...

The problem you may have I suspect is that the tenant will be in hospital when the bailiffs arrive, so even if you get possession of the house you will become a bailee of all their goods in the house .... Possession isn't necessarily the end of the game.... Time to grab that bottle(?)

Best of luck
