Hi Just a warning that I recently used a high street letting agent and deep within their 18 page Tenancy Agreement was a clause which allowed them to change the utilities supplier.  They obviously get a fee for doing this from the new supplier.  It has caused me nothing but grief and in the end the new supplier returned me to the original supplier after many many phone calls.

Forewarned is for armed!

I've experienced the same. The thing that shocked me was that I didn't even use the Agent for full management - simply a one-off Tenant Find. I could not believe they would have had the gall to do it... but they transferred my property to Spark or somesuch... without my agreement or my Tenant's agreement. I was unaware this was even possible, but it is.
