I am about to let my first property, I would be grateful for some advice from this wonderful forum.

On the Prescribed Information form there is understandably a section about the details of the tenant (or sponsor) so that some or all of the deposit can be returned to them.

My tenant has an email address, but really prefers not to do email, in fact I dont think he owns a computer - so I have left their email address blank on the PI form.

So it would seem that the only real way of contacting them would be to supply a postal address.

How are landlords supposed to know, months or years in advance, what the forwarding address for their current tenant will be?  This seems like a shortcoming in the form.

I could obviously put the address of the Property I am about to let them, but they very likely will not be there when the DPS send them a cheque.

What do other landlords give as the address in such circumstances ?
