Hello, I found this forum because someone else posted a question about a company called landlord-eviction-service.co.uk. back in 2017.
Ran by Paul Ellis. I paid for there services because my tenants refused to leave after me giving them 3mths notice in June 2019. There was a court hearing in March which my tenants didn't contest ( they basically want me to evict so they get a council house, the estate agent that found them for me, offered them other places to live and they didn't return his calls).
I need the house back to live in now I am divorced and have 2 kids every other weekend.
So Paul advised  me doing a Section 1 as stupidly my gas safety certificate was out of date.
The problem I have is, I now can't get hold of Paul, paid him £1500 for his services and never got a receipt ( the previous post in 2017 said the same).
I need to know how can I find out if that March eviction case was ever actually going ahead ( before being delayed 4 months due to Covid-19).
Can I get hold of court direct to find out if there was a hearing and if Mr Ellis has ended his company, can I carry on the case without him?
I really don't want to start again, a new 6 months eviction notice,being  at the back of the queue.
All help appreciated please.

Am I right in thinking that you read a post from someone who was not happy with Mr.Ellis,and therefore decided to give him £1,500? You can contact the court directly for information on your case.If Ellis had a limited company,you can check the current status on Companies House website.
