If a tenant has been given a date to leave a property by the courts because of rent arrears,(although the guarantor has paid up to the notice period), and then the tenant attends court before the said date to ask for an extension and gets one, is the guarantor still responsible for the rent until eviction given that the guarantor was told that the tenant would be leaving on a specified date and then had that date extended by up to a month?
