My current tenants gave notice last week & I've decided that being pretty hands-on anyway, I may as well save myself £100 a month & manage the process myself.  I've managed to find some tenants & they seem to be ok!  Obviously meeting people is one thing but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good tenant referencing service.  There seem to be loads out there, some more expensive than others.  Who do you use and why?

Why? An established company and the referencing is powered by Experian

Plus its pretty reasonable cost.

Good for you managing the property - £100 a month to a letting agency that generally do very little to earn the money - whats the point in that?
