Does anyone rent out there house with bills included

Im thinking on it

please advise me

cheers

boboff

I have done this in the past sort of..... There is a shared boiler and I paid the gas bill, and the electric, but had £1 coin meters installed.

It was more trouble than it's worth, and I wish I hadn't been such a cheap scate, and got  it set up right in the first instance.

If I had bills included my heating would be maxed out, huge baths, no consideration etc etc

... and I've heard IT geeks sometimes target properties with bills included, they can set up their servers and stuff to run 24/7.  And cannibis farmers might like the idea of free lighting and heat for their indoor plantations.

As Riptide says, you're just too open to abuse if bills are included.

What about the rent and c tax all in ????

boboff

Why?

If you have subdivided a property and hope to make a bit on this, I wouldn't, because as soon as the tenant wants HB or a CT discount, you'll have to come clean.

Be a little bit more giving with your information and you might get better advice, otherwise, I am out.......

Riptide

As Bob says if you're renting a room or dividing a house or a standalone house all the answers are different.
