Hi and thanks for a great site.

We have a small property we have been renting out for several years. Tenants have left so we have painted throughout, put new kitchen in, updated bathroom etc.

We had thought about letting  it for holidays as we are in a popular tourist area but then second lockdown came and we went off the idea.

With holidays  in mind we bought furniture, appliances, crockery, kitchenware etc.

We have now decided to knock the holiday let idea on the head but we have all this stuff!  We have nowhere to put it in store.

Are there people out there who would want a furnished place?  It's all really nice stuff by the way.

I would keep it furnished for now, there are people, especially younger singles, who want furnished. Of course, these are not the ones who tend to stay longterm. I don't do furnished any more,as it can lead to more stuff they can break or complain about. In your case, if the vaccination proves viable, you could well go back to your original plan after a suitable time has lapsed.Looking for nesters may not matter.   I do hope so!

Thanks for your reply. It's always good to have another opinion.
