Hi
I am new to this site and renting. I have read all legal obligations for landlords on various websites online but am confused on what I need to do for fire safety - legally. I have a 2 bed house, which I plan to rent out to one family. I have an epc about 5 years old, an electrical check done last year, a gas safety certificate and working fire alarms that are now attached to the main electric board. Do I need to change anything else for fire safety? Doors? Accessible windows? Or do a risk assessment? All websites give different advice and I want to be clear. The house is a back to back house with 3 floors and a cellar.
Any advice would be grateful.
Thank you
Kim

You could do a risk assessment. I never have though, wouldn't know how I do one either.  It's not a legal requirement for smoke alarms or elec tests so you're way ahead of the pack there anyway.

Great. Thanks for your advice. I thought that but other websites were misleading.
