Could you pls advise me how I finish my 'management contract' by the letting agent? Who says that I can't come off the contract, despite it was signed 4 years ago.

Write to them, saying you're terminating the contract. Ensure, before that, that any rent is set up to be paid directly to you and nothing further goes to them... otherwise they are likely to withhold. Don't forget the deposit aspects.
