Good afternoon all Landlords.

My name is Stuart Macintosh and I live in a private rented 4 bedroomed property in Basingstoke, Hampshire with my wife and 3 children. We currently pay £1200 per month rent to a local estate agent, we have been here 4 years,.

Initially we were using this rental propertyas a stop gap to save a deposit and get back on the property ladder as we had both sold our houses in previous divorce settlements, however we have not been able to save enough to get a mortgage.

I am a full time self employed builder and my wife works with victim support.

I am looking for a landlord who owns or is looking to buy a property in Basingstoke of at least 4 bedrooms and is looking for a long-term tenant  (10 years +?) so I can get some security in where we will living for the next decade

I am willing to rent the property at a slightly lower than market value rate and in return as a qualified builder/multi trade operative I will agree to maintain the house fully for the term of the tenancy, including carpets, decoration, plumbing and heating all repairs and maintenance that come with running a house so that the landlord has no other costs other than the mortgage repayments and the building insurance for the term of the tenancy.

We are a decent family and are currently renting through Simmons and Sons Basingstoke, who are a very respected estate agency we have been renting with them for just shy of 4 years and can get a reference from them stating no missed or late payments and no tenant issues whatsoever.
