Hi

I have a tenant vacant under a section 21 notice. They have dumped a sofa outside a neighbour a few doors down. This neighbour is not happy about this and stating that she will report me to the council. Now my issue is I don't see how I am responsible for my ex-tenant dumping furniture on the street.

Any ideas what I can do to resolve this?

Why would you be responsible? The Council might like to try and make you think you are... they may even convince you, but it wouldn't make any sense at all. I would ignore everyone.

I'd put my hands in my ears and shout la-la-I-can't-hear-you... until I couldn't.
