Hi, it's me again, sorry.

We have sent our tenants a letter notifying them of possibly court action if they do not pay their outstanding rent.  We have just contacted our letting agents and apparently, they did not leave a forwarding address!

What means can we go to, to find this ourselves?  Is there any legal limits I must not cross?

Thanks

Riptide

Finder monkey will find them apparently but you have to wait for the T's to bed in to their new address for a few months for it to be most successful.  Do you know where they work? Could you serve it there or tail them?

Landlady1977

Thanks for your advice.  I hadn't thought of that  :)

* Welsh Accent

" I opened the door and there they were, gone"

Riptide

I like that, moreso because I'm Welsh I am!

My other favorite

"Whose coat is that jacket your wearing?"

I love the Welsh accent!

Especially when the word "Hydraulic" is involved.

Hi again.  Just a quick recap, our tenants left two months early, we have issued all of the correct paperwork, so on Monday we are starting our court claim.  They have advised us that if we go through with this then they will put a counterclaim in against us!  Has anyone had this happen before?

Any advice would be great :)

Riptide

What will they be counter claiming for?  Have you re-let the house yet?

Landlady1977

No we haven't let the house yet.  We are not letting them out the contract until the end of March as they had no valid reason to leave.

I have no idea what they would be claiming for either!
