I'm getting a property renovated ready for new tenants(hopefully not hoarders with a secret cat this time!)
Can anyone tell me if this is a plug in extractor fan above the hob. I think it is, but I'm not sure.

Is this a serious question? How can anyone, except you, know for sure?

In your photo, there's a plug immediately above the cupboard above the extractor fan so it seems very likely it is for the extractor.

I'd suggest that you switch the extractor fan on, then pull out the plug and see whether it stops.
