Havn't handled contracts myself personally before so confused regarding some basic legal stuff.

Am using this template:

Am about to set up a direct debit with somebody, but is the wording in the contract enough to cover me?

"The Parker agrees to pay the stipulated rent in advance on the .......... day of each
week/month or the day to the Owner or his agent by mail or in person at their
respective address as noted above. Or having done so previous by arrangement."

Am just going to fully fill 2 copies of the form and we will sign both and keep 1 each.
