I'm going to get a HRVS fitted to my 3 bed semi in the next month or so, once the current tenants have left.

Does anyone have experience of these that they can share please?  Is there a brand you'd recommend etc?

Also is it something a general sparky can fit or should I fork out £499 plus VAT for the specialist damp proofing company to fit?   They suggest "Remcon" - anyone used this brand?

Yes I get that it's one more thing to fix if it breaks but this one is for me rather than tenants to hopefully keep my property in good order. 

The current tenants have caused damp by not ventilating and the HRVS ventilates constantly taking out the hardship of opening windows etc.  the system would constantly be on - apparently they are very quiet and 1.5p per day to operate.
