Hi every body i need help cause i left my house 1 year ago and my LANDLORD DONT WANT TO GIVE ME MY DEPOSIT BACK . The house was clean and the deposit was 4500. He just said that he had to fix some stuff in the house that why he kept it. I've just called the DPS and they said that this Landlord never put the deposit on the Protection scheme . DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO 

Take him to court because he did not protect the deposit. You can still do it and claim up to three times the deposit, if you really do not want to go down that road then you should explain to him that he should have protected it and that you could take him for up to 3x the amount but you would prefer it if you just had your deposit back
