COVID end of tenancy

Hi all - new to the forum so looking advice in these difficult times.

Current situation with a tenancy - served s21 notice mid Feb and notice expires April 14th. Tenant currently 2 months in arrears. Hopefully they will have left by 14th - indicated 3 weeks ago that they would respect the notice to leave. Not answering my messages regarding check out / leaving keys.

If they haven't gone by 14th then do I still proceed asap for possession order or will this not currently be dealt with?

You can file the claim but then it'll be stayed till at least end of June.

Tenant now informed me that they can't move out on 14th due to the Covid situation meaning the place they were going to move to us now not available and money to move also not available.

The whole situation stinks I don't believe most of what tenant tells me - it would be nice to believe that they will leave of their own accord asap but in reality I think I may be best getting in the queue for possession.

Would standard online possession order be the way to go and would this allow me to claim for the rent arrears at the same time?
