Tenants have been gone for thirty days and changed address. When can I take possession of my house?  I put an in-laws appt in my house and when the in-laws weren't coming back. A friends kids needed a place to stay for a bit and that turned into a couple years they weren't contributing so I turn off tv and internet and they left taking some of their stuff but not all, they have been gone for 30 days and just changed address. When can I take my house back. I want the down and my house back!!!!! Please help  Thank you

What's an in laws appt?

Riptide I put a wall up that cut my house in half for the in-laws to live in while up north they live in Florida. They did not come back for the last two years so we help these kids. Do you have any advice, they moved out, changed their address, they took their electronics and some cloths and have not been back! When can I take back my house???

This is a UK based forum mate.

My feeling is if you still own the house, 100%, and they have no financial stake in it, take it back now, if not, give them a ring and ask them if they want to sell there interest back to you.

But that seems very simple.
