l have been advised by Edinburgh Council staff that l could just reuse the 2018 FRA with amendments. l am left bit unsure. She suggested that because there are 4 female Edinburgh university students this year, whereas last year had 4 male Edinburgh university students, I could add text like 'making sure hair dryers, ghds are turned off when finished using,' it has been pointed out that males also use hair dryers and nothing regarding this was in the
original 2018 FRA, https://drive.google.com/open?id=1CPrCAushT2qUOc4K8lSz3K6rfqubSq7-

so am confused, as risks are the same, yet suggested to make amendments. amendments I considered adding to the FRA are

page 8 of 32 TV's are listed as a fire hazard. There was never a TV in the flat. Seems like they used a common template and forgot to customise it.

page 14/32 63: 'Has the main electrical system been tested by a competent person? NO'  it was and has been tested by a qualified person and we have the certificates.

p26 of32 150: intumescent strips and cold smoke seals installed to all fire resisting doors now.

p27 of 32 154: HMO standard letter box now used.

These amendments were made to meet the HMO standards so HMO licence was granted last year.To show these amendments, just add the necessary page/s detailing those changes in the appropriate pages in the 2018 FRA?

would l have to assess how the tenants are using the flat. They are not fire performing stuntmen/ women. they are just 4 normal Edinburgh university students, the property agent can go out and ask them how they use the flat or l could also email or phone them, correct? would adding some short sentences for this assessment  of how they use the flat, to the FRA be helpful, eg whether use flat for cooking and what times?, wake up and bed times?,use of flat mainly for study and sleeping should be added? any other questions for assessment?

thank you for your useful suggestions.
