Hi, Im just looking for confirmation on serving a possession notice on the property I rent.

The six months fixed term started on 2nd March, therefore due to end on 1st Sept 2013.
I would like to serve possession notice.............can I do this on 1st Aug for two month (eviction 1st Oct) or do I have to wait till after the six months has ended and give them till 1st Nov 2013?

Use the form of words from s21 Housing Act as it takes away risk of getting date wrong
