started new thread re the blown down fence as this time - as have viewed and whole fence is completely down - question is if worth claiming on insurance? otherwise could be looking at £450 upwards for a decent replacement. thanks guys

Depends on your policy.

Not wanting to state the obvious, but only you know.

I claimed on the insurance to replace a boiler at £1,550. I didn't claim on the insurance to replace a fence at £900. Same property. Excess was £200.

It's personal choice.
