There are some great landlords who read and contribute to this site and I thought I would be controversial and ask if any of you are bored of some of the tenants whinging on this blog?
Yes I know it's here to help people, which is great and I know I'm probably going to get a tirade of abuse from "Mr/Miss/Mrs Hard done by tenant" but I don't care. I just wondered if it was getting on anyone else's tits?
You maybe thinking that I should stop coming onto the site but I do enjoy helping people with letting related problems. I just want to tell people to bore off sometimes. Am I alone on this one?

Hello CAH: No, I'm not.  Most seem to have real problems.  There are three things which are a little tiring to me:
+ Clearly not researched the info available before posting the question;
+ Huge long rambly story ending with "what should I do?".  When they've given no idea what they actually want out of the situation;
+ A focus on rights above negotiation.  One person's right is another person's forced-obligation and no-one likes to feel oblidged.  Negotiation leads to situations that everyone can take something positive away from.

Jeremy, thank you for your contribution.
It was as usual, clear, concise and valuble.

Surprised somewhat that there hasn't been more of a back lash on this one. Oh well, maybe next time...

I don't want to tell people to "bore off" as you put it either.  If I have something useful to say then I will say it.  If I haven't then I don't.

I am not keen on rambly and ill-punctuated posts, or those that seem to think it acceptable to use text speak on everything.  They are hard to read, and may draw little response for that reason.

People come with a variety of questions.  That is what a forum is for.  The answers to some may be obvious to us, and are often down to a lack of initial research, but as someone once put it on another forum I use: "the only silly question is the one you fail to ask".  Perhaps he was right there.
