Hello all

Im wondering if you can help as im really struggling.

I own a flat where it is part of a converted house. There are three flats where we all brought the freehold together.

Since then two of the flats have sold.   I am trying to sell my flat where i have looked at the deed and the old owner of one of the flats is still on it and the new owner is not.
There solicitors have closed and we cannot locate the old owner (tried everything)
We need to change it over where I dont know what to do and the solicitors are not helping.
I am looking at applying for the right to manage and getting it changed that way but we dont have any company. A company was setup when we first got the freehold but it has not been changed and the paperwork has been taken.

Im slowly ripping out my hair with this.

Is applying for a right to manage correct? if so do i need to setup a RTM company???
and how o you do this?

Please someone help!

1. Go see a solicitor for professional legal advice.
2. What you sweating over? Doesn't seem like a big deal unless you want to sell.

If any work needs doing, get agreement and do it.

The solicitors have been no help!
This is the problem I am trying to sell and found the issue. I'm hoping someone can help me and guide as I'm getting nothing from the solicitors

Ah I see.

Try a different solicitor?

Speak to land registry, or sign up online and get title deeds for about £3 I think. Get each leasehold and the freehold?

Look into getting indemnity insurance for the issue, so as the sale is not affected?
