Hi,

I have a house that currently have tenants in, the contract ends in more than 2 months and I already gave them my official notice more than a week ago.

The problem is, the family does not want to move. they gave the reason that their child is going to this high school nearby and they don't want to have to find a new school.

I have asked them to look for a house nearby but they said that it's too expensive. currently we rent to them at a really good rate for them, my state agent (bridge ford) have advised me to increase this.
So essentially, they just do not want to pay more.

I have decided to allow them 6 months and will renew the contract with the state agent, but i would like it so that they cannot come to me in 6 months time and say they still cant find a place or some other excuse.
Can have a condition in the contract that forces them to move in 6 months and one that i will not need to give them notice, essentially im giving them my notice now.

could someone draft that condition for me? im not very good with words in contracts.

thank you, i appreciate any advice and help

There's no way that such a term would be enforceable. The answer remains the same as before: if you serve a valid Section 21, no court may deny you possession, regardless of any hardship this may cause the tenants.

thank you very much..to be honest it was my father that i asked me to ask this.
I told him the same thing that we didn't need such a condition, in fact, i told him we didnt need to let them have it  for 6 months.

but he insisted that since our plan is to refurbish it, and he thinks that itll be difficult to find workers to refurbish it in the winter so he will give them another 6 months.

anyway, thank you for the reply on this and the other thread/
