Hi all  does anyone know if my tenants can put in a counterclaim against us, although we are currently living in the USA but our house is in the UK?

Ha ha, yes, we still don't know!!!  Apparently they are supposed to write a letter to us explaining but they seem to have ignored that!

Ha ha, very funny.  What a weird situation.  I don't know anything about this sort of situation.  I wonder if a solicitor could 'defend' you in your absence?

If the issue is in the UK, definitely.

A quick update:-

We have took tenants to court. We have put in our reason why, we have now received their defense, which is full of lies and rubbish, thankfully I have email proof to defend ourselves.  Will keep you all posted
