Good morning ,  i am just in the proccess of buying a house to let. The seller agreed to have an EICR inspection & certificate but their estate agent has rang & advised me it would not be transferable & we would have to get another done . Is this correct? Surley tge inspection & report is for the property. Thanks in advance Jen

Personally I would have another test done when I'd taken ownership of the property before I let it out, simply because the seller might have a test  done to aid the sale but they could also change remove or replace electrical fittings in the move after the test had been done.
