I hear NR are asking for people wanting to remortgage etc to go somewhere else and they will knock any charge on the head to do so.
Anyone else heard anything.

I haven't heard anything like that, but it wouldn't surprise me.
Hmmm...I got a letter from NR yesterday, though. I didn't have time to read it, so I'll read it tonight and write about it (if it's of any interest).

ahhh yes, I got a letter also like faggie, however unlike faggie I read my letters.

It was basically saying ...once I come out of my fixed rate mortgage they will help me remortgage  with another bank ! As they dont have any deals to offer.

Pathetic.

Good job I will have sold my house by then... so i dont need them to 'help' me find an ok rate somewhere else.

Now this is strange,
You would have thought they would block any new deals from existing customers, but i know someone who has a care home and the council want the mortgage company to say it was ok to have adults with special needs living there.  Northern rock wrote back saying it is not a problem, and signed all paper work that went along with it.
Strange, i would have thought they would have said no to get them looking else where.
