Hello all,

I'm struggling to fill out my tax return for my first property. I rented it out for 4 months.

EXPENSES: when I bought the property, it was a problem with the pressure of the water and the plumber changed the  Stuart Turner pump.

Can I add this expenses in the box 25: property repairs and maintenance? Is a expense, isn't it?

Hi. I'm renting my first house out and have listed the tax deductible expenses (that the letting agents have provided) on my tax return. Are there any categories of tax deductible items that I am possibly not thinking of? I don't want to be spending any time/expense involved with the rental without claiming any allowance that I am able to, or missing any legitimate tricks to reduce my tax bill. Regards Kevin 

How would we know? You've not given us a list of what you have included, so how can we advise on what you've missed?
