What are these guys playing at,
After trying to get rid of me for the most of this year, it looks like they have gone back on their word and want to keep me.

Story, basicly my Mortgage went up from 1.5k to 2k, do to rate increace etc, now although i can afford this, it ment that i never really looked around to find a better deal, I know i should have done bla bla, busy !
So after many many letters telling me i was paying to much and i should go elsewhere i get a letter through telling me that my payments have gone down to under what i was paying before.
It seems that it was just a big excercise to get rid of people of their books and if you rode the wave it had some loyalty value, paid of with a % drop.
I wonder how many people NR managed to shed of their books !

They still want to sell their mortgage debt, from what I'm aware.

However, they had to reduce their SVR because of the 1.5% drop in the base rate. They really didn't have much choice.

I got the same letters through, advising me to remortgage because they couldn't offer me a better deal when I came off my fixed rate.

Badger

Um, interesting isnt it,  it really would be nice to see how many people have come of it and gone else where.
To be honest the rate now is better than i would get anywhere else anyhow,if price to rate was taken into account.

Its all a dream

Yup, for those who stuck it out with NR, even though they're on a high variable rate have probably done well out of it. Because remortgaging may have been more expensive, especially with the high product fees, and 25% minimum deposit.

Badger

Another 1% off, they will have to pass it down, interesting, very nice if you have a NR mortgage

Badger

sorry faggsa, ive been out and about today, still dont know myself, i did however find it interesting what the chap said on the main site about the best deals being offererd to the surviving few

Badger

My NR mortgage down to 300 pm the lowest ever, highest was 825 pm some time last year.  shhhh dont tell my tax man as i want to recoup some of what i lost first  ;)

propertyfag

WTF, 300pm? That's sooo cheap! Nice one.

You making overpayments, or just paying the minimum £300? It may drop down even further if there's a cut today :)

Badger

Still keeping the payments the same.  To be honest i have lost a few quid, so its nice to get some reward at last.
Yes more cuts on the way should put it down a tad more
