Hi - I inherited a flat with my sister in 2011.  We transferred into our names and have now sold it.  Due to fill in tax form for CGT -can you help with what I can claim?  Is it just the legal and estate agency fees?  Can I include any purchase fees - or prob not because it was bought by my father?

I wonder, I haven't met the previous 14 Fanny's......

You can claim expenses in relation to the property, not previously used as a deduction against Tax.

To be fair, you would be better going to an accountant who can advise you on your specific case, and what if any, reliefs might be available.
