I need a credit card! I'm buying way too much crap online with a debit card, which isn't the safest and smartest thing to do.

Anyone know what the best type of card is? I don't care about high APR because i'll be clearing my debt at the end of each month. I just want to give my debit card a rest!

Cheers!

Hmm anyone know about the AMEX cash back deal?

QuoteEarn 5% cashback for the first 3 months up to £100 and up to 1.5% cashback after that. There's no limit on the cashback you could earn.

Sounds ok?

Amex just dropped me out the back door.  Went from 15k top end to 1k. lol,

Amex offer an amazing headline cashback rate of 5%. It's a killer deal and a great card, BUT you do need to know a bit more just before you apply for this one.

Problem  with AMEX is that it isn't accepted everywhere. I ended up getting a Tesco Clubcard Credit Card and the Santander Zero for when I go abroad because it has a 0% foreign exchange fee.

AMEX cashback is only for first 3 months. Bcard's better - 0.5% off everything with 1% off food & petrol.

Its better to avoid a credit card as long as you can for they have very less to offer and too much to ask for. Once you get habitual of treating the credit amount as free money, you are bound to get indebted for rest of your life. But if you must have it, go for a one which offers minimum interest rates. It is always good to be regular in your payments hence it may affect your credit score. Also it is wise to change the credit card within regular intervals of time.

Now a days, all credit cards in the market are excellent with additional features.
But, I recommend the Credit Card named "ICICI Bank
Signature Credit Card".

The advantage of the card is you buy something on the 1st of the month and dont pay interest for 30 days. You then clear the debt from your ordinary account when pay day has been. When buying with the card your purchase is guaranteed by the bank. They effectively own it until you pay them back.
I use HSBC because they gave me £5500 limit with no hassle. They are friendly and have good customer service.

I find point scoring offers do nothing for me. The items I can save on, I can find the same discount in another store anyway. I find the more features, the more confusion. I am old school. I hate buying an item, (especially electrical) that I have to spend a day programming. It should arrive that way!
(All I want is bloody toast!)
Same with the banking. Too many features I never use will not help me. I just want plain, simple reliable. Above all cost effective.

I find Platinum Plus Credit Card best

Amex provides good offers but I feel its interest rate is too high.

The credit cards that offer the lowest fees are obviously the best credit cards.  It is not just the fee but lowest interest rates and some perks as well.  However, the best cards might vary from person to person. What is good for one individual may not be the same for the other. So, to make the right choice cardholders will have to take a closer look and view the benefits of the card

The advantage of the card you buy something the first month and pay no interest for 30 days. You can then erase the debt of your account regularly until payday was. For purchases with the card with your purchase is guaranteed by the bank.

Best credit card is that which gives low interest rates, gives more bonus points, provides more discounts on every purchase.

Free credit period is not available on cash withdrawals and interest on such cash withdrawals start from the day of withdrawal till payment date. Firstly, check that what kind of credit card you require and for what purpose. Secondly know about the annual percentage rate (APR) as credit cards offer different APR for cash advances, purchases and balance transfers. Thirdly check out how long is the grace period as longer grace period provides more time to pay your credit card bills. Fourthly, know about the fees that includes late fee, annual fee and over limit fee. Finally, also check out credit cards limit and credit cards rewards before choosing the best credit card for you.

As you begin your search for the best credit card for what it really is the best credit card for your situation and needs. You can, for example, be someone who travels a lot for business or pleasure. Travel discounts with credit card may be the best credit card option for you. It is possible that someone who has bad credit. There are credit cards specifically designed for people like you - would be the best options for credit card for your circumstances.

Once agreement is reached with the normal amount of credit as free money, you are forced into debt for the rest of his life. But if you have, go to one that offers the minimum interest rate. Always good to be regular in their payments so you can affect your credit score.

I have been using the HSBC because of the good interactions and services they keep on providing the customers

Co-Op.  And join as a member of co-op group.  Their dividend is meaningful not like other "points" schemes.  Interest sensible, but you said you pay off in full so that does not really matter.  And you know they're an ethical bunch of people.  And they are nice and efficient to deal with, too.  Been with them for years.
